High-CMRR Balanced Line Receiver ICs

Milford, Massachusetts, USA - APB-DynaSonics, a leading manufacturer of analog mixing consoles and live sound equipment, have announced their participation in THAT Corporation's InGenius Identity Program with the recent launch of MixSwitchTM, APB's newest audio switching device.

THAT Corporation, a semiconductor manufacturer of analog integrated circuits for the pro audio industry, supplies the InGenius® chip to APB which minimizes typical hum and buzz in real-world, live conditions.

John Petrucelli, Chief Engineer at APB understands the value of incorporating THAT's InGenius technology into his latest design. "We needed the highest possible performance in the MixSwitch", Petrucelli explained. "Using the InGenius and OutSmarts® ICs from THAT gives us the best balanced input and output solution available. The InGenius inputs provide the best CMRR of anything we've tested, short of using a transformer. And it's not really that surprising once you realize that Bill Whitlock (of Jensen Transformers) helped develop the InGenius circuitry."

Chuck Augustowski, Sales Manager for APB, agreed with Petrucelli. "Our customers know and appreciate the quality of THAT Corporation parts. The InGenius logo provides a recognizable mark that tells our customers that we're using the best parts available."

"APB is an important customer to us, and we are all extremely pleased they've elected to participate in our InGenius Identity Program", commented Marv Hahn, THAT's sales manager. "Their products are masterfully designed to the highest standard, with quality, well thought-out features. We maintain those standards for ourselves as well."

Hahn continued, "By using our InGenius logo on the MixSwitch, APB's customers will know they're purchasing quality inputs, and won't get the hum and buzz they'd find in other line receivers that don't have our bootstrapping technology."
