IMMEDIATE RELEASE
THAT Corporation Welcomes New Manufacturing VP
THAT Corporation announced that
James J. Girouard has joined the company as Vice
President of Manufacturing. Girouard's appointment comes
during a period of strong growth at THAT Corporation, and
follows THAT's move into its expanded headquarters and
manufacturing facilities in Milford at the end of 1998.
Girouard
brings twenty-one years of manufacturing experience, most
recently as Operations Manager at NorthStar Technologies,
Inc. a leading provider of GPS navigation systems. With
experience in mid-volume, high-quality products, a strong
track record of meeting production targets, and an
extensive background in MRP systems, purchasing,
inventory control, and production logistics, Girouard is
well suited to guide THAT's manufacturing team.
"We looked at a
number of strong candidates," said Leslie B. Tyler,
President of THAT Corporation. "Jim impressed us
with his achievements, particularly in meeting production
goals, and his experience with manufacturing on the
larger scale we are now growing toward. We are pleased to
have someone of his caliber join us as we move into our
second decade of operation."
