Analog Engine® ICs

fill
THAT 4301 Analog Engine ICOur single-chip audio dynamics processors, dubbed "THAT Analog Engines®," combine in one IC all the active circuitry needed to construct a wide range of dynamics processors. Each of the 43xx series includes a high-performance, exponentially controlled Blackmer® VCA and a log-responding rms-level sensor. The 4301 and 4320 include three general-purpose opamps allowing more complex signal processing.

THAT4301 - High Performance Analog Engine
The original versatile Analog Engine®. Its dynamic range exceeds 115 dB, and THD is typically 0.003% at 0 dB gain. The 4301 is an ideal building block for compressors, limiters, gates, expanders, de-essers, duckers and more.

THAT4305 - Low-cost Analog Engine
The THAT4305 is our newest solution to dynamics processing. It offers low-cost and the basic functionality of an Analog Engine. The 4305 is aimed at line-operated audio applications such as compressor/limiters, gates, and other dynamic processors. It is available in a small (QSOP) surface- mount package.

THAT4315 - Low-voltage Low-power Low-cost Analog Engine
The THAT4315 offers low-cost and the basic functionality of our original Analog Engines. The part was designed for low-voltage operation, comes in a surface-mount package and is suitable for battery-operated audio applications like wireless microphones, wireless instruments and personal monitors.

THAT4320 - Low-voltage Low-power High Performance Analog Engine
The THAT4320 is optimized for low-voltage, low-power operation while providing more versatility than its low-voltage cousin the THAT4315. This surface-mount part is aimed at battery-operated audio applications like wireless microphones, wireless instruments and personal monitors.

THAT4311 (Not recommended for new designs)
The THAT 4311 offers the same great versatility and low package count as the THAT 4301 at reduced operating voltage and power requirements.
